Aggrieved youth on Friday burnt down the Upper Sharia
court, Rijiyar Lemo following the
appearance of an Islamic cleric, Abdul Inyas accused of blasphemy.
Thousands of youths had thronged the court to witness the
trial of Tijjayya sect leader who was taken into custody last Wednesday after
he was rescued from mob at Makwarari quarters.
Just yesterday Irate youth stormed and demolished his modest
resident located at Gida, Kumbotso local
government area of the municipality.
Also around Mandawari area of the municipal, a huge crowd of protesters were seen heading
towards Emir’s palace chanting death to anyone that denigrate the Prophet of
Islam.
The development has triggered panic in the city of
9.5million dwellers as police seems helpless so far.
