Controversy, which is threatening to tear apart the Deeper
Life Ministry led by Pastor William Kumuyi has been rocking the church highly revered
for its ‘holy way of life’ of its members who are doctrined to always do things
in ‘heavenly’ manner.
At the center of the uproar has been the wedding garment
worn by the wife of the son of the General Superintendent of the church in
faraway London in which many have said is a far cry from what they have been
taught to be wearing on wedding day.
John Kumuyi, the
second son of Pastor Kumuyi had wedded married former Miss Love Odih, daughter of
the National Overseer of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry in Jamaica and
former State Overseer of the church in Cross River State, Nigeria on Saturday,
15 June at the Deeper Life Bible Church.
