At the Damare Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in
Gire local government area of Adamawa State, there was heightened tension in
Yola as a military helicopter allegedly carrying ammunitions crashed.
The five white men who were on board the ill-fated helicopter
sustained varying degrees of injuries and were hurriedly evacuated by
Ambulances belonging to the Nigeria Air force, eyewitness account said.
