The national leader of Nigeria’s main opposition party, All
Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has
stated that the general elections were postponed because President Goodluck
Jonathan was afraid he was going lose if the election had held.
The former governor of Lagos state noted that the general
elections were announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission
(INEC) chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega but the words were those of Jonathan.
