Forbes an American magazine has published the list of the 10
richest black men in the world for 2015 with Aliko Dangote in the first
position.
In its latest edition dated Jan 24, the magazine said that
with asset worth 21.6 billion dollars, Dangote is not only the richest man in
Africa, but also the richest black man in the world.
The magazine said the Nigerian multi billionaire built his
fortunes from the production of cement, flour and sugar.
According to the magazine, Dangote is currently constructing
private oil refinery, fertilizer and petrochemical plants in Nigeria.
The magazine also listed four other Nigerians among the 10
richest black men in the world.
They are Mr Mike Adenuga the CEO of Globacom with asset
worth 4.6 billion dollars, Mrs Folorunsho Alakija with asset worth 2.6 billion
dollars.
Others are Mr Theophilus Danjuma with asset worth 1.1
billion dollars and Mr Tony Elumelu with asset worth1 billion dollars.
