The Nigerian pair of Vincent Enyeama and Ahmed Musa have
made the shortlist of five for the 2014 African Footballer of the Year award.
Caf announced the five-man shortlist, and Enyeama and Musa
survived the chop in an initial 25-man list released by the African football
governing body in November.
However, the Nigerian duo will have to contend with Ghana
captain Asamoah Gyan, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Gabon and the current
African Footballer of the Year, Yaya Toure.
