An Ebute-Meta Chief Magistrates' Court in Lagos on Thursday
remanded a fisherman, Taiye Agbaje, over the alleged murder of his colleague,
one Monday Ukoro.
Agbaje, 37, who lives at Ogbun Village, Epe in Lagos State,
is facing a charge of unlawful killing.
The Magistrate, Mrs K.A. Ariyo, ordered the remand of the
accused at the Ikoyi Prisons pending advice from the Department of Public
Prosecutions (DPP).
Ariyo, thereafter, adjourned the case till Jan. 27, 2015,
pending legal advice from the DPP.
Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp. Frank Odigie, had told the
court that the offence was committed on Aug. 13, at 3.00 p.m., at Ogbun Village
in Epe.
