Governor Goodswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State boasted in
Abuja on Tuesday that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would win at
least 30 of the 36 states in the country in 2015.
Akpabio, dismissing the opposition as being bereft of plans
for Nigeria, accused some of them of sponsoring instability in the country.
The PDP Forum's Chair declared, “All those who want to make Nigeria
ungovernable will not succeed. We will not hand over power to them because they
have no agenda …Our target for 2015 is 29 State Governors, Abia (Governor) what
did you just say (Abia Governor, its 30) States, Ok its 30 States.”
Presently, the PDP is having 21 governors while APC has 14
and APGA with one governor.
