The All Progressives Congress (APC) is expecting more than
8,000 delegates in Lagos for its presidential primary election coming up on
Dec. 10 and Dec. 11.
The Chairman of the APC National Convention Committee, Mr
Olukayode Fayemi, made this known on Wednesday while giving an update to
newsmen on the committee's work.
The choice of venue had been an issue of debate as some
aspirants wanted the election to hold in Lagos while others preferred Abuja.
Fayemi said: ''We are expecting more than 8,000 delegates
all over the country - both elected and statutory delegates.
''As you are already aware, our convention takes place on
Dec. 10 and 11.
