Gombe Bomb blast: Police restrict movement around Motor Park

Following the bomb blast that killed many people and injured several others in the early hours of Monday, the Police have restricted movement around the Dukku motor park, Gombe.

The police spokesman in the state, DSP Fwaji Atajir, disclosed that policemen were deployed to the park to protect lives and property.

“Some people abandoned their shops and ran for their lives during the blast, and so, we deployed our men to protect lives and property.


It is our responsibility is to protect lives and property, and I m optimistic that business activities will resume at the park by tomorrow,” Atajiri said

He urged the people of the state to report to the police any suspicious movement around them for prompt response.


In the blast that occurred in the early hours of the day, about 19 died, while 25 others sustained injuries.
