How man abducts 5-Year-old boy in Ogun, moves him to Abuja

A suspected child kidnapper, Bola Adesina who abducted a 5-year-old boy, one Ahmed and attempted to ferry him from Ogun State to Kaduna State, was nabbed after the boy raised an alarm in a vehicle in which he was travelling with his abductor.

LEADERSHIP Friday learnt that Adesina, an Okada rider based in Shagamu Ogun State, carried Ahmed in his Okada on a commercial ride in the town but later loaded him into a luxurious bus travelling to Abuja for onward delivery to his client based in Kaduna, one Iya Oyibo.

Ahmed who was suspected to have been drugged during the trip, was said to have slept all the way from Ogun State until the bus, belonging to the GUO Motors, got to the GUO bus park in Utako, Abuja.

The little boy was said to have woken up from his slumber and quietly told one of the co-passengers that the man he accompanied on the trip was not his father.

The passenger was said to have informed other passengers in the bus who immediately descended on Adesina and insisted that he told them how he brought Ahmed into the vehicle and his relationship with the boy.

When Adesina could not explain how he got Ahmed into the bus, the passengers gave him some beating and finally took him to the Utako Police Station where he was immediately detained.

The LEADERSHIP Friday source also disclosed that while Adesina was in the police Station, Iya Oyibo called him on phone to enquire where he was with the child. Immediately adesina told Iya Oyibo that he was in police net, Oyibo quickly cut the line.

Adesina was said to have told police that Oyibo was Ahmed’s sister who lived in Abuja. The police however learnt that Oyibo is based in Kaduna and is a suspected child trafficker.

FCT police spokesman ASP Peter Okechukwu who confirmed the incident said the police were on the trail of Oyibo and that they were very close to arresting her.
